Kevin Costner told ‘just stick to acting’ by Yellowstone boss, sources claim

After everything that’s been said it seems the rumors about Kevin Costner are true. I don’t know how I’ll cope after this.

Yellowstone is a popular TV show that revolves around the challenges and tensions that arise along the borders of the Yellowstone Ranch, Broken Rock Indian reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and land developers. This neo-Western drama has gained a significant fan base over the years. However, it appears that the show is reaching its conclusion.

There have been rumors circulating that the lead actor of Yellowstone, Kevin Costner, and the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, do not have a good working relationship, which may be why the series is ending despite its huge popularity.

According to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Sheridan had developed a “God complex,” which created tension among those in charge of the production. It was reported that the fifth season of the show will be its last, with the second half of the season set to air soon on Paramount.

Apparently, Costner raised concerns regarding the direction the series was going but was told by Sheridan to “stick to acting.”

According to an anonymous source, Kevin Costner, the lead actor of Yellowstone, holds the show and its cast dear to his heart.

However, the source claimed that Costner believes that Yellowstone is deviating from its original vision, and he faced criticism, including being told to focus on acting.

As per the New York Post, Costner is now keen to concentrate on other projects. A source reportedly told the publication that tension between the show’s creator and a big star is a common occurrence and that there is mutual respect, but there is also friction.

Currently, Kevin Costner, who recently won a Golden Globe Award for his role as John Dutton, is busy directing and starring in Horizon, a western film series comprising four separate movies that will be released three months apart.

Reports suggest that Costner plans to film for only one week on the second half of season five of Yellowstone. However, his attorney, Marty Singer, has denied these rumors, stating that Costner is very committed to the show and has always gone above and beyond to ensure its success. Singer provided this information to Puck News.

Another reason for tension between Kevin Costner and Taylor Sheridan has been the significant delays in production. These delays have reportedly been caused by Sheridan’s busy schedule, leaving him overburdened with work. When Costner was available for filming, the scripts were not yet ready, leading to disagreements between the two.

According to a source who spoke to the New York Post, the second chapter of season five was supposed to be shot late last year, but without completed scripts, it was impossible. Costner had already committed to working on other movies and had provided his schedule to the producers, which meant there was nothing to shoot.

It’s unclear whether the issues between Costner and Sheridan will be resolved and whether filming will continue as planned. Hopefully, both parties will be able to come to an agreement and work out their differences to ensure the success of the show.
