Unboxing and Review of Razer Blade 15 (Ultra Performance)

First, we have come on the previous model of Razer Blade 14″ inches display. But now we get the 15″ inches display with less bezel. In the previous model, we get more bezel which looks like not pretty much. In this Razer Blade15, they increase display size from 14″ inches to 15.6″ inches but they keep the overall size same. This is slightly wider but the overall size is pretty much same as the previous Razer Blade. We are getting more screen in this version for immerse in games that’s because of we are getting display 4.9mm thin bezel display in the side which is looking very stunning and this is gives us an awesome look. The bezel is also counterbalanced from top and rock-bottom and you will also get a normal front facing camera on the top beside a small flashlight. Now you do get three display option including full HD at 60 Hertz, that is not in touch. Secondly, you got full HD at 144 Hertz, this is also not on the touch, that’s the sweet spot for the gamers, this will give you a maximum framerate for your gaming. You are also going to a get 4K on 60 Hertz option and this one does have a touch and this one is made for the video professionals and photo professionals who need a high-quality display and at 4k. This is sure you can game with it but you have to sacrifice the framerates.

Now the good news about these display, this is all factory-calibrated for the first time Razer blade constructed. Factory-calibrated means is that they should all reach 100% SRGB and this makes the screen brighter. Now we are turning to the processor, we are looking at Intel 8th generation Core i7-8750H. This is a six-core processor with 12 threads and up to 4.1 gigahertz of performance. And the best thing about this laptop is this all thing is just balanced by the Vapour Chamber Technology this makes your laptop cool while you are in the game on it. And there is also some custom design solution here from Razer, which makes the device little bit heavier, But this all is design to allow them to push that processor so, you don’t need to worry about the throttling problem in this Razer Blade 15, because this is goes double by the video card. Double video card where you get the two option including NVIDIA Max-Q GTX 1060 At 6 gigabytes of video memory and NVIDIA Max-Q GTX 1070 with 8 gigabytes video memory. Now here we tell you that who don’t like Max-Q because this tends to throttle the speeds, don’t worry about it razer will let you control that through the Synapse Software so you are going to get the best of both worlds. In this Max-Q you will get the smaller design but you should get the performance of a Standard GTX card as well. Now we will come to its expandability in the competitions most companies are bucking the trends and they trying to putting the soldering memory, not Razer.

Razer Blaze 15 Specification and featrues

They are going to give 16 gigabytes out of the box with DDR-4 ram, excellent but you also get the DIMM Slots. So, you able you expand it up to 32 gigabytes if you want this is plus point about it. And talk about it SSD memory which is 512 gigabytes and you can put it up 2 terabytes yourself if you want to as well. This is PCI Memory. the keyboard is just basically the same but they did revamp the way the key is actuated and this will make you feel really good. And you are still going to get Chrome well lightning, those Secondary keys though still don’t light up so they have not changed that yet. When this is coming to the trackpad, you are going to get a giant precision trackpad. And people will really have excited about this. Razor’s continuing the trend of adopting precision drivers and this is work very well here. For the battery life, you are going to get 80-watt hours which should give four to six hours and this is all depending on the performance of the display you picked up. This is still just a gaming laptop so don’t expect more hours to this as the office laptops do, but 80-watt is given you such a long battery backup as you want. And you will be going to get two top-firing speakers on the deck, Dolby Atmos so we are expecting excellent audio from this device as well. Now when comes to port, you got few options you are going to get Type-C, Thunderbolt 3 of course so you can use this as external GPU. You still get USB 3.1 Type-A port, also known as I call it the legacy port and three-and-a-half-millimeter headset jack plus Full HDMI but in the twist for 2018, Razer’s putting back in a mini DisplayPort as a response to a gamer who want more option for connecting up external displays.
